Slow Cooker Zesty Baked Beans

If you are looking for a side dish to bring to all of your Summer gatherings or barbecues, these Slow Cooker Zesty Baked Beans are the perfect accompaniment . I made them for Easter to go with our smoked ham and they were a hit!My mom has always made a version of these baked beans and they are famous within the family. Of course she couldn’t find the recipe so I just tossed a few things together that I could remember her adding. You can cook these in the oven too but just make sure they cook low and slow for max flavor! These Slow Cooker Zesty Baked Beans will be your go to for Christmas, Easter, and for BBQ season! These make a big batch (probably feed about 10 people as a side). So if it is a smaller gathering, just cut everything in half! Start by browning the pork sausage over medium heat. Then add everything to the slow cooker and cook low for about 3 hours or high 1.5 hours!! Enjoy 🙂
